At the TRA:WELL final conference, the manifesto for active, independent and safe mobility was read out by the pupils.

Manifesto for active, independent and
safe mobility
Dear decision-makers, dear parents, dear everyone!
We children and young people have an important message for you all!
We want to have the freedom to travel independently and actively in an attractive and safe traffic environment - for ourselves and for everyone else.
These are our concerns:
We want to be safe!
o We demand safe sidewalks and roads without dangerous obstacles.
o We want safe routes to school, to the park and to our friends.
o We want attractive places in public spaces as meeting places.
We want to be active!
o We enjoy walking, cycling and scootering.
o We want our cities to be safe enough for us to be actively mobile without having to worry.
We want to be independent!
o We want to be supported so that we can move around independently and responsibly.
o To do this, we need a holistic, child- and youth-friendly transportation system that enables us to reach our destinations safely.
We want to be heard!
o We want adults to listen to our needs and concerns.
o We want to be involved in decisions that affect our mobility.
